Travelodge Sydney NSW Australia”
The Travelodge is within easy walking distance of the heart of Sydney with its shops, restaurants and theaters. Take a bus to Paddington for its plethora of pubs, designer boutiques and, on Saturdays, Paddington Markets, or hop on a train, do the city circle and head to Bondi Junction for more designer shopping before traveling, again by bus, to Sydney's famous Bondi Beach for even more top restaurants or a spot of people watching. Rooms at the Travelodge are modern, comfortable and, if not necessarily overly spacious, they're certainly adequate for one person or a couple, the beds are comfortable and there's reverse cycle air-con; whilst there's no bath in the standard rooms, there's plenty of hot water, the pressure's strong in the shower and the mirror and lighting are good in the ensuite, along with a roomy vanity and basin. I stayed in a standard room and I believe the executive rooms have internet access in addition to the in-house movies and cable TV that are available in all rooms, and they are somewhat larger than standard rooms, ideal for the business person. The kitchenette is a handy feature if you don't wish to partake of the hotel's restaurant breakfast, although there's no toaster, only a kettle and a microwave oven. Secure parking is nearby, only a couple blocks from the hotel and the Travelodge validates the ticket, allowing entry and exit to and from the parking lot as often as you need during your stay; it's $22 per 24 hour period which is excellent value; the last time I stayed there I arrived at 5.00 pm and exited the garage the following morning at 10.15, the normal charge for this amount of time would have been $56. From the Goulburn St parking lot it is a reasonably flat walk to the hotel for anyone concerned with tackling hills with or without luggage, there is a slight incline on the approach to the hotel but there's also a ramp leading directly into the foyer to avoid the front steps.

Amazing location and adequately sized rooms ”
Travelodge Sydney Hotel is perfect for first time visitors to Sydney, returning visitors and the like. It's easily accessible location ( from the airport) and closeness to everything makes it the perfect hotel. Trains were only a few minutes walk away (Museum Station), buses, monorail and light rail were also within short walking distance. Rooms were adequately sized and well equipped, they also included Foxtel channels. The hotel is very close to Chinatown, World Square and Paddy's Markets/Market City so it makes it very easy to find something to eat or a place to shop. Overall I enjoyed my stay at Travelodge Sydney Hotel and I will definitely stay there again if I returned to Sydney!

Great Value and nice location!”
Before I decided to stay at this hotel, I read a mixed review about this premise. But based on my personal experience, I would highly recommend this hotel as it boast great service, great location and value for money. Considering Sydney is an expensive city, this hotel would be an answer for those who are budget minded but still would want to stay in a hotel rather than dormitory style hostel. Location wise, it is very close to many place of interest in the city of Sydney. Just 3 blocks south is Chinatown and also the famous Paddy's market, takes about 10 mins walk. Next, down a little bith south, another 5 mins walk from Chinatown is Darling Harbour. Museum station is close too...just one block away from the hotel, and take a train to Circular Quay to see Opera House from this station. And for those who love to party...Oxford street is just 4 blocks north of this hotel, about 10 mins walk too! Room wise, the room is clean, nice bed and aircondition/heater works well and nice flat screen tv with lots of free channel to choose from..hey, u're in Sydney..why would u stay and watch tv? lol and the nice touch of microwave and mini kitchenette, bring this hotel to another level...

nice hotel”
The Travelodge Sydney Hotel is situated in Wentworth Avenue and is a convenient base to explore Sydney. You are no more than a 10 minute walk to China town and Darling Harbour and a number of shopping malls. It is also less than 20 minutes walk from The Rocks and Circular Quay. The room was extremely clean and spacious with queen bed and settee. There was also tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge and microwave in the room. The hotel itself was clean and reasonably well maintained and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a pleasant stay at this hotel at a very reasonable price.

Highly recommended for budget travellers”
very glad with our stay in travelodge. though room might be a bit small due to the pantry cabinet located right at the walkway, we can do with the tight space for additional feasibility that many hotels do not offer eg microwave and pantry utensil etc. friendly and helpful staffs, sydney maps at the counter etc. basic and practical needs of the customers are well taken care off, kudos to the management of travelodge. it will be good if travelodge can consider offering free wifi in future. breakfast is added advantage but we can do without b/f with microwave. again, thanks again travelodge. great budget hotel for small family. business travelers will be happy with breakfast thrown in.

"A welcome relief for travelers"”
We would highly recommend Travelodge Sydney Hotel to fellow travelers especially to tourists like us because of its strategic location allowing easy access to land transportation modes (walking distance from the bus and train stations) around Sydney. The hotel staff are very warm and accommodating to our needs. The hotel's guest rooms are rather big with spacious bathrooms. Aside from that, the rooms are pretty much sound-proof as one cannot hear other people's voices or noise from the adjacent rooms. Lastly, the rates are very affordable especially for budget-conscious travelers like us. we would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends who may want to travel to Sydney someday.

Travelodge Wentworth Ave Sydney”
After finding the hotel via taxi, we checked in to the hotel, and I realized that I booked a triple room for my girlfriend and I. So when we checked in I asked if we could change the room to a single and they said that was fine. I was very pleased with the staff at the front and whenever we had a question they were able to answer it for us. The large bed and couch in the rooms are nice after a long day in Sydney and the T.V. has a good selection of channels to choose from while you relax. The refrigerator is a plus as well and we bought some simple groceries that lasted our 4 day stay in Sydney. I would go back to this Travelodge again.....very good.

Travelodge Sydney Hotel”
our stay at the hotel was short, but we enjoyed everything about our stay, from the appearance of the hotel when we first walked in, to the front desk staff. the flow of everything hit the spot for us, and when we got into our room, it was exactly to our liking, simple and very easy to access, and we were able to manage how warm or cold we wanted it in our room, as the time we were in sydney was windy and cold. we would highly recommend that if you are wanting value for money, then travelodge on wentworth is the place to go. let's just say that when we were there, our 2nd day there, they had a no vacancy sign on the front door... which to speaks for itself.

Typical Travelodge”
Our stay at the Travelodge Sydney Hotel was just as we expected, having stayed at similar Travelodge hotels over the years. The staff were friendly and competent. The room, although small for two adults and a teenage daughter, was clean and well appointed. The standout 'pro' for the Hotel was the comprehensive English breakfast.

Central position and reasonable rates.”
Sydney hotels, like most big cities, are expensive. So I was pleased to book this hotel for £262 for 5 nights. Not bad, considering it had a kitchenette and a nice big comfy bed. i stayed on floor 14 and was pleased to find washing machine and dryer facilities for AU$8. Very handy. Hotel is 3 minutes from Museum Station (I timed it!) and just a few minutes walk to George Street with its shops, restaurants and bars. The 380 bus to Bondi Beach stopped at the end of the road in Liverpool Street. The Travelodge staff were so helpful and arranged a minibus to take me to the airport at 6am for just AU$15. Will be staying here again upon my next visit.

travelodge sydney”
when arriving to sydney we caught a train from airport and when arrive it was 5 mins to hotel .we had no idea how far from city we were so we ask direction at the desk and they said you can walk there which was great , close to china town daling harbour and we even walked to circular key. there are alot of places to eat close by, we were amazed at how close we were to everything. we bouight a weekly train and bus pass which we only used it for ferry rides and the trip to the airport ,its worth while buying the tickets that way, you never no when you need to use it.Hotel was clean anything we needed was brought up to out room ,price was great and yes i would recondmend the hotel to anyone and yes i would go there again. I been to sydney last year and went to the Arron hotel which was a dive compared to the travelodge , i give it 3 and a half maybe 4 star compared to the Arron 2 star.

Hotel at a Strategic location ”
Travel lodge went worth was our first stop in Sydney however the last stop was Novotel Hotel darling harbor on our way back from Melbourne. During the check in time, we were asked to wait till 1:00 p.m. We humbly requested the front desk officer to accommodate us by 12:00 p.m as after long Haul flight (15 hours), we were pretty dead tired. Nevertheless, we were accommodated at 12:00 p.m. But seems that Hotel check in policy (2:00 pm) is quite stringent even if the rooms are available than. The best part of our stay was the hotel location as we walked all the way to Darling harbor as well as Circular quay with our 5 years old daughter and indeed found it easy to manage:). Also its very close to Museum Station, in case if you plan to take train from Airport to CBD. We got 3 single beds room which was pretty much sufficient for 3 of us therefore in case if you are family of 3, pls ask the front desk staff to allocate you one of those rooms (without any additional charge). The room which was allocated to us was clean with microwave, cutlery, teapot and fridge in it which was very handy for us to make our own breakfast. We didn`t try hotels breakfast hence can`t comment on it. In a nutshell, if you want to stay close to all happening places in Sydney at a reasonable rate with a nice room, than Travelodge Sydney should be in your consideration set! Stayed September 2012, travelled with family

affordable rooms, good location”
The Travelodge Sydney is a good choice for a centrally located budget hotel. Accommodation is Sydney is very expensive and this property represents good value at a good price. In my experience at lower priced hotels the quality drop off pretty dramatically. You can walk to the CBD and all the central tourist attraction or take a bus to beach easily from here. A major negative is the high cost of in room internet access which is a deterrent to business travelers. Overall a decent place to stay and I would probably stay there again.

Good location, simple & adequate lodging”
We visited Sydney in the last few days of a trip to Oz and did sightseeing as well as visited with friends who lived south of downtown Sydney. The hotel is basic, without much character. For us, it was fine -- a place to get a good night's sleep, walk to shopping and restaurants. If you are looking for a place with a fancy restaurant, etc., the Travelodge may not be for you. We liked it and would return if the opportunity presented itself.

Comfortable, affordable and conveniently located”
Check in was easy and we were able to leave our luggage with the front desk. It was located near the Museum Railway Station and grocery shops, which is a plus point as the hotel did not serve breakfast. The rooms were equipped with many useful appliances like microwave, electric kettle, hairdryer, television and safe. There was even a kitchen sink, plates and utensils so it works really well for budget travelers and families. The room we had was well-lit, has a decent view and is quite spacious and clean. In summary, our stay at the Travelodge was pleasant and offers great value for money. If we were to return to Sydney, we'll definitely consider staying there again.
