A great stay at this contemporary, clean, comfortable hotel”

The U Hotels Makati is located close to Manila airport and in central Makati. From the moment we walked in it was like a little oasis in the chaos that is Manila. The contemporary quirky decor is gorgeous. There is a free (nice tasting) coffee machine, cool drinks and available snacks to help yourself in the little restaurant any time of the day. A friend popped in to meet us and the staff assisted him to make a cup of tea. We had the buffet breakfast and it was yummy and reasonably priced. The rooms are extremely clean and modern. There are cute touches like complimentary decorated slippers and each room has an individually painted mural. The rooms are spacious. The staff were warm and helpful. There are some really lovely touches at this hotel and it’s very well priced. My partner and I would definitely stay at U Hotels Makati if we visited Manila again.

This hotel made me a lot of inspirations and smile by reasonable price, simple interior with fine art, and friendly staff. As a parent of kid, Wish this hotel considers more for kid (milk service, TV programs for kids, tissues inside hotel room and so on...) But my opinion doesn’t means any negative intention. Generally speaking, me and my family members have a lot of satisfaction from any kinda efforts of Hotel staffs. Very comfort and cozy with reasonable price. Totally I can enjoy Manila Trip very well during my stay period in U hotels makati. Absolutely I will make booking again when I gonna have another chance to visit Manila in my precious promises.

Excellent stay ”

First time in Manila, we selected this hotel last minute. The deluxe room was sufficient, everything was clean, bed was comfortable, safe worked, and there was shampoo and body wash and toothbrushes and soap and towels and water bottles. AC worked well. Staff were super friendly. Our bags got delayed by the airline, so we spent 3 nights there with just our handbags. Good location, convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Malls close by too. Great coffee and snacks. Didn’t try their restaurant, but there’s a good breakfast place next door. Hotel was excellent. What we didn’t know (and this is not the hotel’s fault) was just how bad the traffic was in Manila. One day we spent 3 hours trying to get a taxi or ride or a bus, and the other day we spent 1 hour in the taxi, travelling less than 10km. So what we learned is, don’t travel between 4-10pm by car unless you want to spend a lot of time in the car. We went to see Chinatown and the old city , which were fine, but coming back, the taxi took forever. So we waited until the taxi reached Makati avenue/ Ayala/ SM mall area (the fancy stuff), and then we got out and walked 10 min back to our hotel. Just a tip for someone who want to get less frustrated - walk in Makati, taxi somewhere else, and breathe. Wifi was good at the hotel. I would return.

U-nique Hotel in Makati”

This art hotel is really one of a kind in Makati. One of the best hotels I’ve been to in Makati. The hotel was perfectly planned, well-designed interior and exterior from the slippers, paintings in every room up to the signages, everything’s so nice plus it’s pocket friendly. And the whole hotel is well-maintained, very clean. The staff are really accommodating and attentive to my needs. The only thing I didn’t enjoy that much was my breakfast. I wasn’t that satisfied with the taste of the tapa but the serving is really big (it’s the only food in the menu that I tried). The price of the food is also reasonable. Overall, my short stay was perfect. The hotel got everything I need and it’s very U-nique. I’ll definitely go back.

If you are looking for a budget hotel in Makati you should consider U Hotels. It is located near Poblacion and Burgos St where some of the good pubs are. Powerplant Rockwell is also walking distance. Note that their Standard Double doesn’t have a window. Good thing we were upgraded as there were vacant rooms with windows. Breakfast was yum! They had bacons, sausages and pancakes. They also have a 24-hour snack bar that serves good coffee. I just wish there’s socket in the bathroom if in case the guest wants to shave or use the hair dryer. Nonetheless, we were happy with our stay. Thanks again and we will be back, U Hotels.

Despite of their location in the infamous P Burgos of Makati, this hotel is quite safe and clean. Actually U Hotels Makati is built on the north end of P Burgos so you can alternatively choose to walk Makati Avenue to stay safer. Staffs are kind, friendly and helpful. Just be careful when you walk down the P Burgos otherwise you will be able to enjoy a comfortable stay unless you want to have a bar crawling all through the night in this dangerous district. Would stay again.

We were looking for a place to have a staycation since me and my hubby are on leave, this was a last minute booking. I am trying to look for hotels in the CBD. Came across this hotel with high guest rating. And yes, i only look for hotels with high guest ratings since we as a customer are actually the voice of the business. So with our stay here are our rating: Value for Money: yes indeed and its a bang for our bucks. We stayed 3d/2n. Location: Nice location, you can either walk if you want to go to Century City Mall, or get a cab or grab if you want to go to the other end of P. Burgos where the nightlife is. Very near the CBD also. Although there are times that there is a heavy traffic just an fyi this is makati anyways. Cleanliness: as soon as you enter the hotel lobby/reception, you will immediately smell how clean the hotel is, the wooden walls design compliments the rest of the furnitures and fixtures of the lobby, same goes inside the room, the clean smell goes the same as soon as you enter your room. Clean crisp linen and bed sheets and fresh towels are available as soon as you enter your room. Enough trash bins as well inside your room. Facilities: this is a small building so don’t expect a lot like Gym, Pool etc. The bathroom is big, same goes the room. Interior are very artsy and picture worthy, bed is super comfortable which is very important to us. AC is working well, no complaints at all. They do have parking but its a first come first served so call them first before booking. I don’t know if its because of the weather but it took us a day just to connect to their Wifi, Coverage for both Smart and Globe are weak inside the room (can be that it only happens to our room) which is room 707. They don’t have cable TV, what they have is TVPLUS. If you will not avail of their bfast included room, it would cost 250php for one person buffet breakfast which we haven’t tried as our hours of sleep is entirely different (night owls). Clean and comfy. Very accessible to almost all types of establishments. Very accomodating and warm hotel staff. Wifi connection is fast. I don't usually give out a lengthy feedback about hotels that I stay in but U-Hotels Makati deserves a huge shoutout for its excellent service and facilities. Everyone should try staying here. Trust me.

Pros: Great customer service, quick check-in, comfy bed, modern western style bathroom with hot water and flushing toilet, great location in Makati (quiet end-not near bars or clubs) but within easy walking distance, safe street (one way traffic only), close to 7/11 and restaurants, security guard on duty (definitely needed in Manila). Cons: Price is ok but not fantastic, Manila is quite expensive for accomodation compared to other major cities such as Bangkok or Singapore. Deposit required at check-in even though it was not mentioned while booking.

We checked in last Aug 26 and stayed overnight. This is our first experience at U hotels. The FO staff is very nice, the lobby, the hallway, and the rooms are instagramable bc of the artworks. There is an incident in our room where it smells like burning. We don't know if it was the aircon or the lights. We observed it until the 4th time. So we reported it immediately to the staff who delivered our food we ordered, and he told us to wait. After like 5-10 mins, the FO staff called us and asked for what happened, and she told us that we will transfer room and take note she upgraded our room. At first we were hesitant but she told us it's for our safety. We thank you ate girl for the upgrade (forgot to check her name). Nice location, very quiet. With slippers inside... but there's no hair blower. Thank you u hotels! see you again soon! ☺️🤩👍🏻

I Finally Found "U"”

It sets a new standard when it comes to choosing a hotel offering a 5-star like service at pocket-friendly price tag. Staying at U Hotels exceeded my expectations. From Check-in to Check-out, The Management, The Manager and Staff, Security, Housekeeping, and everyone who forms part U Hotels definitely know what service is. I never expected to receive a Royal Treatment from this hotel. Who says you need a palace to experience what it feels like to be treated as King or Queen? Cons [EXTERNAL and out of the hotels control] - Church bells - Jeepneys It was tolerable but if you’re a light sleeper, it will bug you. Cons [Internal] - I wish they’d have more pillows, about 4. They only had 2. :( - The CR smelled like cigar after we turned off the exhaust which freaked me out - They need to soundproof the rooms because we can even hear the alarm from the room beside us. PROS: - The staff were amazing! Always smiling and accommodating. - The room was small but functional, enough for relaxation - Bed was comfortable - The room came with cute slippers! - The ambiance is great — in the lobby, hallways and inside the room. - Breakfast spread was the bomb!! Sausage and Bacon?? CHECK! - The food menu was reasonably priced and tastes good! We didn’t even eat out! - Value for money!!! My boyfriend and I will definitely come back here! Pleasant and comfortable stay”

My husband and I decided to spend our 1-night accommodation at U Hotels. I was curios about their excellent reviews and wanted to experience it myself and U Hotels did not fail to meet my husband and I's expectations. The room was cozy, comfortable, clean and their breakfast buffet was superb. Although they should place bath mat and shower curtain in their bathroom. Nonetheless, we had the best stay. We'll definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Best value / quality option for Makati (Poblacion area)”

I frequently travel to Makati so am looking for good value options in the area. This is by far the best one i've found so far. The quality of the rooms (beds/bathroom) are very good. I didn't have any issues with soundproofing (which is a problem with many other hotels here). WiFi is very fast and reliable. Staff are friendly and professional (but don't forget do not disturb sign as you might get an 8:30am knock on door for cleaning). If they keep the price competitive, will definitely return.

12 nights of stay! I didn't regret my choice at all..”

It was last minute booking & I was afraid of regretting my decision regarding accomodation. Thank God I did not regret it at all! From the moment me & my mate checked in until we checked out (it was a total of 12 nights stay in the hotel). I want to express my gratitude & satisfaction to the very hard working & efficient daily house keeping & technical team, the very dedicated, warm & hospitable receptionist & other hotel staffs, last but not least the very committed & helpful security officers (Rose, Monica, Erick, Mark, Cris, Harry, Dexter & the rest of them which I'm not able to recognise the name).. Thank you so much for the very pleasant stay we had experienced.. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends, families & others who would like to choose hotel as their accomodation.. Had such a lovely stay in U Hotels! Got the best rate in Agoda, and it came with free wifi and plated breakfast as well. The common area by the lobby also serves all day snacks, brewed coffee, and tea for free for people checked in. The room had a comfortable bed and the bathroom had dispensers for shampoo and body wash. The location is also an easy stroll from the pubs and known dining places in Poblacion.

This “too good to be true” property is exactly as advertised.....most comfortable & cozy lobby I’ve seen anywhere.....huge room with great bed, television & bathroom!!!! Also many electrical outlets which usually are lacking in PH. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Most of all this gem comes at an extremely affordable price!!!!! A must stay in the Manila area!

Great Place To Stay”

Pro's: Good location. Walking distance to A. Venue Mall, Century Mall, Supermarket, Night Market, Restaurants, and other hang out places. The hotel itself has good and cozy interiors, always smells nice be it in the lobby or in the room. The room and toilet were super clean and smelled too good. Nice art work painted on the wall. Aircon is cold. They provided room slippers. It's quiet maybe because we were on the top floor and our room is situated towards the fire exit. Staff were always courteous and greets you whenever they see you. Con's: Only has 1 elevator but you can use the stairs if you are feel like burning a few calories. Room Service needs to improve. A menu is provided in the room but then the only thing available during our stay was sandwiches and drinks. And breakfast room service is not available u can choose to go down the lobby for buffet breakfast. We opted to eat at the resto beside the hotel which offers 24hrs breakfast food and it's quite inexpensive.

Convenient location”

U Hotels is conveniently located for someone with business around the Makati / Rockwell area. The downside is the rooms can be a bit noisy because of too many car passing by in the area. Parking is very limited, only 4 slots. Also, the room has no cable TV so it's not ideal for a staycation.
