Fabulous staff and a nice room with kitchenette”

We had a great stay at Valero Grand Suites with a family of four including two small children. Saarah on the front desk was amazing and very accommodating, we felt right and home and nothing was a problem for her including allowing us a late checkout. The staff really made this standout from other apartment hotels in this area and I would book again. The room was good and had a nice dining table for four which we used with takeaway to allow our kids to eat at their own pace (any parent would appreciate this) and the kitchen with hob and fridge was a big plus. There wasn't any pans to cook with so I assume you would have to ask the front desk but we didn't need this but the plates and cutlery were helpful. I checked out the pool on the roof which was small but nice, although we had a cloudy overcast day so did not use it.

Accommodating staff, spacious room”

I chose the Valero Grand Suites because I am looking for a big space that cam accommodate 4 families. I booked the triple room. The room was big, the 3 rooms are spacious, the dining is big and we were able to get additional 2 beds. Though the kitchen is small, but its okay. Since the unit are big, the aircon cannot make it cooler at the dining, just make sure to close the windows, because of the sunlight. By the way, the table at the dining, I'm not sure if they were clean properly, it was still dusty. And they didn't double check the welcome letter, it was not addressed to me. Overall stay was okay. It was good for big families.

From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome. Ashleigh at the reception desk did our check in very efficiently and we were given an upgrade at no cost... A three bedroom apartment with balcony! It was a wonderful spacious apartment with amazing views. Everything worked perfect in the apartment , the beds were comfortable and after a very long flight, we had a good night's sleep. The apartment was cleaned daily, new clean towels and complimentary water bottles provided daily too. Breakfast was Super, the choices from the buffet was excellent. Another bonus is the swimming pool, the pool area is well looked after, great place to unwind. Well done to all staff at Valero Grand Suites, you made our stay there very special.

Clean Hotel, Hassle-free Check-in/out; Parking.”

I booked on the same night I needed a hotel room and paid via Agoda. Checking-in was painless! It took only a few minutes. Because of my Agoda VIP Status, they even upgraded me to a fancier room. The room was clean and decent. Although I would have appreciated a few packets of instant coffee in the room, which they don’t provide. At least, their buffet breakfast was satisfying. The fact that they have free parking for hotel guests gives them added points. In the wake of the recent towing incidents of cars in Metro Manila, having a safe, private parking for out-of-town guests makes a boutique hotel a WINNER in my book. Finally, checking-out was as easy as checking-in. Whenever I will need a hotel in Salcedo Village area of Makati City again in the near future, Valero Grand Suites will definitely come to mind.

Good location, huge rooms, somewhat old built”

If there's one thing to love with Valero Grand Suites, it's their location. Located along Valero Street, it's near to many restaurants and coffee shops. It's also a 10-minute ride to Greenbelt/Glorietta area (possible to walk too). Rooms are huge and homey, but some of the beds are a bit hard on the back. There are parts of the room that look old and need some renovation. The staff is superb! Despite coming over Christmas, staff, including housekeeping are ready 24/7!

Bysiness as usual”

That was stay #3 and the last one. That time all the staff was exerted among the corona virus (temperature meausurements by any enter to the house....) - well, the panic war in the air, accepted. All others as usual - between very good and excellent. Worth of money! N.B. You go from MNL to Valero for 440 (four hundred forty, none 'thousand' above!) using the official coupon taxi. Do not communicate with nobody 'offering' taxi service even wheraring uniform and gun, talk to the person (usually a girl) in the coupon taxi booth! (The scammer even try to catch you on that booth and stop you from this!!). Or install the GRAB application, a one-way travel from/to MNL with a GrabCar will be between 200 and 400 piso. If the driver asks you for pay the aisport highway, so pay 35 or 45 piso - this will save a lot of time. (The receprion of this hotel can order a GRAB car for you, too, but this is then obviously available only from hotel, so own app is better as it will help go to everywh).

Location is highly important ”

To start with the minor inconveniences. The shower in our room seemed to be pulled of the wall and the knob for changing between main- and handshower seemed to be stuck. Also watertemperture, even when running longer, changed from hot to cold and vice-versa often. In the hallway and the room there was a funny smell. What we really liked about the hotel was the location in the CBD of Makati. Super convenient. We chose this hotel primarily because of its location, but were surprised about the luxury look it had. Room felt like a condo, it had an own kitchen complete with flatware and cutlery. Many thanks to the very accommodating security staff Erwin. When looking for a hotel in Manila again this sure will be it.

No regrets at all”

The place is very clean, staff are very friendly and professional. Since we checked in we met the front desk manager Ms.Jhen she made me feel welcome to my house and I recognized that she is all the time on counter checking on her guest by her own.. ideal for familiesand business stays”

i reserved this for my relative with kids. the location is very ideal if you want to stay within makati CBD. walking distance to ayala triangle park and the salcedo weekend market. it is 5 minutes away by car going to ayal malls. place is spotlessly clean and spacious. the staff is attentive and their courtesy is just how a hotel does it - im impressed! i would definitely come back and i will refer this to friends and family. in fact, i will be posting a vlog about this experience to encourage people to consider this as a place to stay. This place is a nice staycation for families or business hotel. dont expect for the TV to be nice though. the purpose is for you to live in a clean and comfortable place right at the best part of makati.

Exceptional”

This hotel was more than what I expected. My family and I arrived at this high end hotel dressed and looked like we dont belong. Prior to our arrival, we were stranded at Siquijor island due to a scooter accident. We were only there for a day trip so all we had were the clothes on our back and a swim suite. so we pretty much caught a 0600 ferry back to Dumaguete for a 1045 am flight to manila while a family member packed our belongings from our hotel which was an hour away from Dgte. Anyway, we pretty much showed up looking like scrubs and the hotel staff remained friendly, concerned and accommodating. The staff even offered assistance to the nearest emergency department since I sustained a right knee injury and was covered in road rash. I would difenitely stay in this hotel again. House keeping was also very attentive and made sure we were taken cared of.

We received our room as a upgrade as our booked accomodation was unavailable, the Valero Suites and so nice comfortable with 5 star standards, very quite surrounding and close to food outlets including 7/11

Walk to Greenbelt- 15 min Walk to Ayala Triangle - 8 min Tons of restaurants within half a mile. All walkable and safe. Nice clean hotel. Excellent, helpful staff. I’ve stayed in 3 different rooms over the past 3 weeks. Beds are firm and that’s how I like it. If you prefer a sunny or bright room specify it. I stayed in a 1 bedroom suite with windows that opened up to the rear of buildings blocking most of the sunlight. I also stayed in a studio with no electrical outlets in the bathroom and with spotty hot water. Good news is the staff will help you out. Clean white 100% cotton linens and towels. Highly recommended. Car not recommended in the city. Bad chaotic traffic most days. Made it to the airport by cab in 20 minutes on an early Friday morning. Lucked out!

Great for family gatherings”

We threw a surprise vow renewal for my parents' 40th anniversary here. The staff was awesome! They helped us pull off the surprise, from allowing the photographer and catering to go up the room first to personally escorting my parents up our suite. The 2 bedroom executive suite was huge. It has 1 bedroom with a queen size bed and another BR with 2 double beds. It also has 3 bathrooms, a living room, dining room and fully operational kitchen. In terms of amenities, we really liked their pool. It's not as big as other hotels but it's super nice. It's an indoor/rooftop pool. Even had a resident DJ while we there. We had a great stay!

Excellent budget friendly choice in Makati”

Excellent location in Salcedo Village, Makati. Staff were warm and friendly at check-in and out, and provided a level of service unmatched by other establishments. Only downside was the placement of the A/C unit in the room; it blew directly onto the bed, and the bathroom shower design made the entire floor wet after a bath.

Great location for this value accommodation”

I visit Manila on average once every month or two and I tried different properties, this might have one of the best value for money in Valero. Overall is fine and I would have no issue to come back. As a suggestion I think they could really elevate the property with just a few extra attentions, better housekeeping (clean better the bath, change bedding if requested, and something apparently cheap to do, not sure why they don’t, provide spare roll of toilet paper so do not constantly run out) and better elevator maintenance to reduce waiting time

Good location and Big rooms!!!”

This place is very good for group or family. We got the 2 bedrooms and surprisingly has 3 toilets! It has everything like stove, microwave, plates, pans, fridge, kettle, etc. The value of Value Grand Suites is worth it. The staff were nice too! Parking is also available!

VERY GOOD HOTEL ”

I stayed at this hotel several times while I was in Manila. This means this hotel accommodated my needs for comfortable stays in the city. I find very few con factors about this hotel. I commuted to the Greenbelt (big shopping mall complex) on foot for food and shopping everyday and that's my daily exercise. I hope they will welcome me again when I stay there next time.

The room was very spacious for a 2-Bedroom Suite, suitable for lounging by the television or having meals with friends. The staff were also very attentive, and also offered help with things like food delivery since we had food ordered for dinner. I would definitely recommend this hotel for group or business travellers!

Highly recommended for staycation for families and friends”

The 3BR unit we rented was very spacious even though it was the cheapest deal in Agoda. Rooms were clean. The living and dining room were big enough for families and friends to converge. However, the sofa and dining table were really small (for a 3BR unit) and there were only 4 dining chairs. We had to ask for monoblock chairs. There was a fully functional kitchen and laundry area. The building was surrounded by restaurants, fast food and 24/7 convenience stores. Frontdesk staff were very helpful and polite. Will definitely come back.
