My Favorite PP Hotel”
I am a legal profession and academic who previously lived in Phnom Penh for 5 years. I usually return to Cambodia 2-3 times a year for work purposes. When I do and I am staying in a hotel, I always choose Villa Langka. The location is both convenient and tranquil. .The design and vibe is stylish, comfortable and low key and incorporates all kinds of traditional Cambodian materials in the design. Not flashy or trying too hard. The staff are exceedingly friendly and helpful--they remember you months and years later?!? The food is tasty, the rooms are clean and well appointed. (I miss the full breakfast buffet, but I'm hoping it returns after the pandemic and economic downturn is improved.) You cannot beat the value of this hotel, for the amenities. Great place for families. When my family came to visit, this is always where I would put them up in Phnom Penh. My review is late in coming and should have been submitted years ago. I cannot recommend Villa Langka enough. This hotel is a real gem and represents an authentic Phnom Penh experience.

great hotel, smallish singles”
Villa Langka is just behind Wat Langka - a stone's throw from many restaurant choices on Street 278 and in the surrounding neighborhood I like this area - plenty of places to eat and enjoy here, without the frenzied feeling that many more areas have. Villa Langka gives even further respite from frenzy - down a quiet street behind tall walls, the setting is green and reminisivent of a day past, given the converted villa that forms the basis of this boutique hotel The high point is the pool - salt water, almost always shaded by the large trees around it, the water stays cooler than most. Breakfast is included and served buffet style around the pool. the buffet was pretty standard fare for these kind of hotels - not outstanding, but not bad. I had two different rooms here (stayed here twice, once before and once after travelling elsewhere) - one in the older building and one in the newer annex. The older building, asd other reviews mention, has a little more oldstyle character. The room was also a bit larger than the newer annex rooom I had. On the other hand, the room in the annex was fine, and there is a balcony overlooking the pool, which was nice. And the annex had an elevator (it huasd 3 floors). The service at Villa Langka was great, with a really nice staff that were always attentive and helpful if you asked a question. As I checked out, the cleaning staff ran down to catch me to give me a charging cord for my laptop that had escaped my notice as I packed.

Standard single room perfect for solo traveller”
Villa Langka Boutique Hotel met my needs perfectly for a two night stay in Phnom Penh. Whilst my standard single bedroom was very compact (the shower room/toilet only separated from the bedroom area by a half height wall) it was comfortable and good value. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city and the swimming pool area offers an ideal retreat from the surrounding busy streets. I would recommend it for a short stay.

Peaceful Garden Boutique Hotel”
Villa Langka Boutique Hotel is just like you are at home. You can relax, swim and enjoy the natural beauty of the place. The rooms are clean and spacious. It has the complete amenities of a standard hotel like cable TV, aircon, refrigerator, king size bed and free wi-fi. Breakfast is also good. There are several choices of healthy food like wheat bread, yogurt, fruits and many more. You can have also healthy lunch and dinner menus. The price is not cheap but reasonable. The hotel is accessible and near the monument, the Embassy serviced apartments and others. The hotel personnel like the front desk clerk, the waiters, bellboys, chambermades and security guards are accommodating and very efficient. Communication gap, however, could be problem as most of the staff to do not understand nor speak English.

Wonderful, quirky hotel, helpful, courteous staff.”
We stayed for 3 nights - wish we had had longer. After the hustle and bustle of being out and about in Phnom Penh, Villa Langka offered an oasis of calm, a quiet pool to unwind in gently and an unobtrusively attentive staff. And free WiFi. There was 24 hour security on the front gate where the guards were unfailingly polite and, again, helpful. The rooms were large, comfortable and restful. Lots of exotic fruit for breakfast, along with eggs, bacon, beans, mushrooms, toast, jam. Or the Cambodian option for those who preferred that. A boutique hotel at it's best.

Hidden gem in Phnom Penh”
i've stayed at villa langka before and recommend it to friends and colleagues travelling to phnom penh. it's incredibly central and the staff are friendly and accommodating. i prefer the rooms in the older building because i think they have more character but the rooms in the newer wing have a quirky take on things - although they do need some more hooks and hangers for your clothes. otherwise a great hotel and we'll be returning there on our next trip to phnom penh.

Charming Hotel”
I have recently had the pleasure of staying at the Villa Langka Boutique Hotel, Phnom Phen, Cambodia. The staff where friendly, polite, helpful and courteous. Located in the middle of a frantic city, sitting by the hotel poolside you get the impression of relaxing in a secluded tropical paradise. The gardens are classic tropical greenery, giving the ambience and feeling of seclusion and privacy. Although parts of the hotel are aged, the rooms and cleanliness overall were without fault.

Great hotel in nice location”
Villa Langka is always a good accomodation choice whenever we travel to Phnom Penh. Staff is very friendly, the rooms are really nice, especially in the main old house. And the food is great too. Location is very convenient as it is very central and walking distance from nice lively areas. And all tuk-tuks and motodops would know how to get there. We'll be back there again :).

The perfect boutique hotel ”
Such a beautiful setting for this wonderful facility. Nice tropical garden setting with the pool as the centerpiece. A true oasis in Phnom Penh, except for the early morning bells front the pagoda across the street, but that adds to the exotic charm of the hotel. Try to get a room in the older boutique villa. The rooms in the newer multi-story building are no different from any other ordinary hotel.

Villa Langka Boutique Hotel is a relaxed place to stay especially if you spend more then just a day in Phnom Penh. The nice Garden and Pool Area are excellent to cool down after a walk through the dusty and hot streets. Location is not in the heart of tourist attractions but lots of nice restaurants / bars in walking distance

So nice we don't want to leave”
We had two different rooms in the villa part of the hotel (not the newer annex), both were very comfortable, nicely furnished, good sized, and each had a private terrace. Villa Langka really still looks and feels like a villa, with ceramic tiles in the rooms and terra cotta tiles in the common areas, carved wooden staircases, and interesting nooks and crannies with plants, branches, orchids and flowers everywhere. The aesthetics of the building and also the decoration are a delight. The staff is very friendly, efficient and flexible taking care to never disturb the guests for room cleaning. Breakfast is satisfying, healthy and varied, and you can custom order your eggs and vegetables from the chef as you like them. We want to live here.

Our choice of ‘staycation’ venue. ”
As residents of Phnom Penh outskirts we love Villa Langka. Convenient to riverfront and great eateries. Excellent service with proactive staff always willing to help. Great pool setting, surrounded by green, away from the bustle of the streets. Aeon, Russian Market and Riverfront all within $1.50 grab trip. Breakfast buffet has a nice range or bread and pastry, fruit, cereal, yoghurt and cooked options, and of course eggs or pancakes to order.

Oasis in the city”
Having been to Phnom Penh many times I was so happy to finally have found an amazing little boutique hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the pool such an oasis and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves tasty khmer and western food at mid-range prices. Affordable and in a central location you couldn't really ask for much more. Very happy customer!

fine boutique hotel, good location”
one of many small boutique hotels in old villas in phnom penh. it has the same features as the others : a pool, a deck with nice comfy chairs, a little restaurant, rooms with nice furnitures. the location is quite good with many restaurants and lounge bars nearby (the hotel itself is really quiet). my room was rather small, but ok for the price. altogether a fine option to go to in phnom penh, although other places (blue lime, mysteres and mekong, etc.) will offer the same quality at the same price.

A peaceful oasis”
Villa Langka is my favorite hotel in PP so far. It is like a peaceful oasis in the center area of the city, near the Indidendence Monument. It is beautifully desinged, and after coming from the traffic of the city, it is so calm, and fresh with a lot of green around. The rooms in the new building are not large, but they are nice and confortable. The staff is very sweet, and service is just fine. There are good restaurants nearby, and it is very convinient for going all around in PP. I warmly recommend.
