Waterloo and Southwark hotels & accommodations
I've staying here for two nights, everything was perfect. The concierge is very kind and professional. They help me on suggesting the best restaurants not only dinner and lunch but also afternoon tea and even if you are looking for fish and chips. They also book the tickets of the London eye and Westminster Abbey for me , that make my trip efficiently accomplished. T...
I was very happy with this hotel. They are serviced apartments so the rooms are large with a sofa area and a small kitchen area. Perfect for a few drinks before a night out. Extremely clean. Small but very nice bar area in the lobby. Very short walking distance to Waterloo and the Southbank. Only down side was beds were twin pushed together so you could feel the divid...
Decided to stay here when I had an early morning train from Waterloo. Got a surprisingly large room with separate lounge area that was very modern with nice touches. Had an interior view, but still had plenty of light and a view of Houses of Parliament thought the huge atrium glass front. Very nice breakfast included. with a perfect view of Big Ben. Very easy wal...
Location location location. Fantastic fantastic fantastic . This hotel is in the heart of the action . Close to Waterloo and Westminster stations both of which can get you anywhere in London if not England. The concierge knows absolutely everthing there is to know about all tourist attractions and how to get there which is important. Nearby restaurants and 24 hour mi...
Roomy 6person flat! Secure building. 2 bathrooms, large living space, handy to supermarket and Borough Market, Flat iron, wheat exchange, Tate, etc Easy walk to Southwark or London Bridge Favourite flats in London
We stayed at H10 for 5 nights and were amazed at what we got for what seemed to be a small fee. The breakfast was incredible, their offerings were sublime, the service was incredible and it's all included in the price of the room. London was the last leg of a European tour for us and I'm glad we chose H10. The gym was small, but what you can grow accustomed to ...
Planned my proposal and this was the hotel we stayed at after. We'd never stayed at a Hilton and I booked a king room. They upgraded us to deluxe for free and then offered us executive for £35. Obviously we said yes because that came with access to the executive lounge. Free afternoon tea, evening drinks and breakfast the next day. Amazingly attentive staff and the rea...
We had a great stay. We had 4 single beds--one each for my wife and I and our 2 kids. Private shower and bath in room as well. The included breakfast was great--eggs, sausage, ham, cereal, fruit, toast, etc. We would have a huge breakfast in the morning which allowed us to skip lunch (except for a small snack/treat in the afternoon). This was helpful for our budget...
Our room had a parents bed and two single kid beds; combined with actual air conditioning we slept well for a change during this heat wave! Downstairs restaurant is Italian so the kids dined on pizza and pasta (another win). The location is somewhat remote, but even black cab rides were only about £20 when traveling from Waterloo. We didn’t try the local rail ...
We arrived after midnight and were greeted by a cheerful receptionist who quickly checked us in. The double ensuite room is compact & minimal with only a bunk bed! The beds were very comfortable, with clean white covers. The bathroom is tiny but has toilet, sink and shower. Everything was very serviceable and clean. For a quick one night stay or for an economical exte...
We stayed in this Travellodge for 2 nights in January. It is in Southwark, which is ideally located for the tube (Underground) as well as being in walking distance to all of the attractions that London has to offer. The staff were really friendly, allowing us to check in early and giving us a room with a view of the Shard. Whilst close to the railway line the rooms h...
Only less than 5 minutes walk to Waterloo and underground train. The hotel is very clean and spacious. Friendly staff. I will love to come back.
Very nice hotel that is located near King's College London (Guy's campus), the primary reason for my selection. Room was spacious, bright and very clean. Throughout my stay the hotel staff kept the place spotless. Beds were comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. There's a small supermarket next door and getting around Southwark is easy. Borough Market is a m...
My stay was very good! As I have said...the hotel and the room was clean; it was convenient to Waterloo and Southwark Underground stations; and it was very quiet.
Best hostel I ever stayed in London! Already booked a second time and would recommend it without any hesitation. The room was very clean, spacious and the facilities appeared to be quite new. Deserved 4 Star hostel! The staff was friendly and always helpful. The elevator didn't work, but who cares, my room was on the first floor, so no problem at all. The room had no l...
this hotel is strategically located in business area, near many shops and restaurants. the closest tube station is Soutwark within 2 mins walking, but also around the hotel there are other stations: Waterloo and Blackfriar. Staffs were super friendly, they were keeping my parcel even I already checked out. Until my colleague pickes it up for me
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Tower Bridge Hotel. The hotel itself felt almost brand new and the room was very clean and spacious (by London standards). But the best thing about our stay here had to be the location of the hotel. Situated in the center of the business district there are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, including a M&S supermarket oppos...
Good spread of breakfast and nice ambience in Colombia. Fantastic view of River Thames from our room. Just that I have to carry our luggage from the reception to the other side of the tower to check in our room. The lift isn’t working well from this tower and I have to carry my own luggages from the stairs. This is too much considering as 4 to 5 star hotel! Can be quit...
We was stay for 3 nights the hotel nice and clean, room very small, close to Trafalgar Center for who go Europe Tour about 10 mins walk. It close to Waterloo train station and very close to Lambeth North station ( Bakerloo) 1 min walk cross the road, super market and food around and Opposit the hotel. 10 mins walk to Big Ben and London Eyes very convenient, from hotel go...
I've been to Marlin Apartments a few times now - and I will return. The one bed apartment is very comfortable with everything you need - and if you don't fancy eating out - you can pop into Tescos and pick up something to heat up in the kitchen. So much nicer than staying in a cramped hotel room. Please note that 'check in' can take some time so be prepared as it ca...
I chose to stay at Novotel with my partner as I had booked for us to have dinner at the OXO tower as a celebration which was only a 5 minute drive away. Novotel staff were brilliant, check in and out process was easy and we also had a room upgrade! They were polite, friendly and very attentive. We had breakfast included which was a good selection and the food was tasty...
pasha is one of the best hotels. we stayed for 2 night here. will definitely stay here again. love the breakfast/dinning room, staff was absolutely friendly & helpful. the price was better then we'd expect at this location. so many shops around, buffet 1 min walk, numerous bus routes thru the front door. its just a short distance to all the main tourist attractions....
Everything is guite good, except checkin office is not close to the house. One heater does not work well, and one toeilet is leaking (a little bit), hope they are fixed soon.
I booked two weekends here on either side of a business trip. The location was fantastic, but on the second weekend, I arrived early. Despite making arrangements for an early check-in, I wasn't allowed to check in until after 3 (which I know is standard, but others who had early check-ins were being accommodated). Also, the staff was not nearly as friendly and helpful ...
Quite noisy as on Southwark Bridge but the location is very good if you are a tourist right near the Tate and Shakespeare's globe. Shower is good. Room clean quite small
I wanted a budget hotel to stay in whilst a very close friend was in hospital nearby, I did not want to pay the usual London rates and I wanted a hotel in walking distance. You get what you pay for , a budget hotel , staff were all very friendly and the room was cleaned daily. Rooms are small and tired but clean. The only problem we had our room was on the third fl...
We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The location is perfect, 5 minutes walk from London Bridge and right next to the underground station. Everything is easily reachable. Very good hotel but doesn’t have free WiFi.
- walking distance from london bridge and southwark underground (tube) station on the jubilee line. - person can avail underground from heathrow terminals on picadilly line and change at green park underground to jubilee line to reach the hotel. - excellent and smiling staf to great you at the hotel. - excellent service. - decent breakfast but no change in the men...
The flat was spacious and the heater worked wonderfully well. It was a good stay. Only drawback was there was no early check-in and only luggage drop at 12. There is no parking facility so you will have to source for that on your own. It was convenient tho but expenses have to be paid by you.

First of all it that Agoda has very old and outdated pictures. I had to look to booking website to see the real pictures so, the owners of the hostel should update them. The breakfast is average but I enjoy it. The pub is very good as I have been there 2 times and 1 time was with live music. The location is a big plus as it is near to the metro/tube. The staff (the guy...

This was the best stay in London I have ever had and I've stayed in a few hostels. Excellent on all fronts - I love the area so for me the location didn't matter. For some they might prefer a more central location but you compromise on the quality of the hostel in my opinion and what is a tube journey - easy lines and running till after the showtimes.
For what we paid, this was a really nice little place. The location was perfect - really close to the tube and in the middle of London. Staff were amazing and super helpful. Facilities were great! Washing machines & dryers, great bars, wifi worked great. Breakfast was good - what you'd expect at a hostel. For what we paid we were really happy. Shower cubicles were a bi...
1. Bar below was noisy until mid night. 2. No lift available, if you are carrying heavy luggage, you need for energy to carry it up 3. No common area Overall, if you are a late sleeper, carrying light luggage, don't know how to cook, this is the best hostel you should book, the location is very good.

The hotel is located in the South of the City Centre in a remote location with no direct access to a tube station but you can easily get into downtown with 2 buses which stop in front of the hotel. There is a large park nearby with playground for children and a running track. Other than that there is not much to do in this district. The hotel rooms are small but clean,...

Great location within easy walk of Waterloo station for trains and underground.Clean plain rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Pubs and eating places nearby. Near Old Vic Theater. Nice stay.

We booked our room not long before arriving and requested a late check in. The staff were still very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. Our room wasn't big but it was clean and of a high standard. The character of the room with the chimney breast was lovely and the decoration/lighting embraced this character. The kitchen section of the room was very small. Just t...

This was excellent value for money for being in the heart of London. Close to Waterloo tube station, very clean, helpful staff. Able to get kebabs at the fast food restaurant place right downstairs, at midnight, convenient!

Just what we were hoping for - Clean, secure, quiet, within easy walking distance of Kennington underground. This is a secure room in a shared flat. We booked three one bedroom apartments for a family holiday and loved the flexibility of our stay in London. Having 4 star accommodation and total independence really let us do as we pleased. The accommodation, staff and location have been excellent and we hope to return soon. Thank you.
The check in process is a hassle. The apartment contact was not able to get us to inform us of the procedure as they say agoda did not provide my email address. I like the apartment a lot! We can use the washing machine and the kitchen freely. Check-in desk is located in Camden. Nothing like the pictures or advert on agoda. Walls are paper thin so you can hear everything and everyone staying around you, including running water, showers and toilet flushing. For the price of these apartments per night it is not worth it!
Amazing stay Couldnt have asked for a better place to stay
Pros: - The folks at the hotel were very accommodating. I had to change my travel dates due to some visa issue, and they changed the dates at no extra charge. - location Cons: - I had to pay $150 round trip taxi fare to pick up the keys.

Very good hotel but doesn’t have free WiFi.
The staff was very helpful and service minded. The room was modern, clean and nice. The beautiful terrace facing the Thames river was new and the food was ok but way too overpriced. We were offered an upgrade with a balcony facing the river. But the upgrading was way not priceworthy so it was not an option. The gym was nice for being a hotel gym and had all basic...
I had booked this hotel for my wife's 50th and we were not disappointed. This has to be the best hotel we've stayed in and not just because of the room and building but more from the attentiveness of the staff.
