West End Soho hotels & accommodations

We booked an overnight stay at the Sanctum Soho to spend two days in London over a long weekend. After arriving hours before check-in to drop off our things, we were offered an upgrade and the opportunity to go to our room right away. Staff were friendly and efficient during check-in and in each subsequent interaction. For a hotel in such a fantastic location (we saw a...

I have stayed at the z hotel Soho many times, and was looking forward to my stay at the newest location Z Piccadilly. The hotel was very nicely done- clean contemporary and spacious, I liked the open layout of the reception/dining area compared with the soho hotel which is very cramped. As always the staff were so friendly and helpful and charming. Rooms were perfect- ...

The Citadines Trafalgar Suare is perfectly located. Close to 2 underground stations, galleries, West End theatres, shops, cafes, restaurants & several supermarkets. We stayed in a studio apartment. Whilst not spacious it was perfectly adequate. Small kitchenette was a great advantage. Complimentary tea & coffee available in the foyer. Helpful staff. Have already booke...

Hotel location was excellent and only 5 minutes walk from soho and Chinatown. Main Picadilly station was also another 5 min walk away. Breakfast spread was good and staff were exceptionally friendly. best part was that I got a free upgrade to a business suite! fantastic!

This was my 6th stay at Charing Cross and as usual, is a good, solid and reliable stay in London. Rooms can be a bit on the small side, but its a great location for business, families and tourists. Being directly next to Charing Cross Station and Tube, a pleasant and easy walk over the bridge away from Waterloo, and 3 minutes walk from the West End, its ideal for tha...

The Waldorf is now a Hilton and so if your expecting to be whisked back to the hey days of London society, tea dances, and palm court orchestras, you will have to get your timing impeccably right. They still do the odd tea dance but its rarer and the beautiful palm court is usually bare and empty (where I the palms?). However, the hotel is run pretty efficiently by the...

The Courthouse Hotel is conveniently located in Soho, and just a few minute walk to West End. Staff was pleasant (and helped me print a document I needed). There is a reputed nice rooptop bar - but at our checkin, we were told we would have needed reservations in advance for the bar. Rooms were cozy but with charm. Our only unsurmountable problem was with the air c...

The location is perfect, only 10 minutes walk from main attraction in West End. There's a lot of restaurant nearby, and if you already had breakfast in your package, you can pay £1 extra to get hot meal. The staff very helpful, and they clean the room and the bathroom (even in the dorm one) every day.

It was the perfect romantic break from first stepping through the door we felt like VIP's. the hotel was very secure the staff were perfectively attentive. The bedroom well what can I say but "wow" the bed went on forever and was the ultimate in comfort, as i do love my high thread-count sheets though this is the first time I've had them even though I've stayed in 5* h...

Had a wonderful 6 nights stay here. Ana, the counter staff is extremely helpful and friendly to our requests. So are the guys but I forgot their names. This is the best hotel I've ever stayed. I was given a room with a perfect view of Leicester square. The beds are comfy, the room is warm, friendly and clean. It wasn't noisy as claimed in the reviews and I am a light s...

BEST location to be in London, (Pramis kabayan!) we even didnt maximize our oyster travell card since almost all locations are within 5-20 min walk from the place. It has complete facilities too, we cooked our meals, even did our laundry, we stayed for 5 nights and the only complain i have is that the ELEVATOR is sometime not working from Ground floor to Second floor....

This hotel, hidden in a cul-du-sac in the heart of Soho is well worth visiting. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the property beautiful and the room I had was large, well appointed and very comfortable. Lots of personal touches abound as well, a welcome note, hand written from the GM to a lovely aroma spray on your pillows at nights. The breakfast was...

100 yards from Leicester Square, equidistant to Covent Garden and soho which are about a 5-10 minute walk. Exceptionally clean (two fabrics chairs could be replaced though as stained). No lift but a beautifully full old grand building and stairs not an issue. Apartment had everything you needed. Check in is at 4 but may be a nice touch if you received a text or email w...

we had a terrific stay at this hotel. top service with top amenities (bang and olufsen tvs, nespresso coffee maker, b&w ipod station..) and the indoor pool was sublime - not busy and large enough for lap swims! location is convenient to covent gardens but it is a little bit of a stroll to the covent garden tube. lots of bus options just across the street to take you a...

I stayed for 3 nights in a deluxe double room. Whilst the room was small, it was perfect for a solo traveler. The hotel was in the perfect location, very close to all the great bars & restaurants in Soho. I highly recommend Mimi's if you are on your own and are into trendy restaurants.

Excellent location especially- only gripe is that the room was very hot and stuffy but the staff were very helpful and provided 2 fans. Maybe if something could be done about fixing the window so it can open more? Nevertheless would definitely stay there again.

Great size bedroom with the most comfortable bed and pillows. We had a great night's sleep and the shower was powerful and just what we needed to warm up after a day on our feet exploring London. The staff were very helpful and room service food and people were great. We stay in hotels all over the world and this one is right up there with the best. A hotel not to b...

I stayed at the Z Hotel Tottenham Court Road with my 18 years old daughter for 6 nights. I knew in advance that the rooms are small, so that was no surprise. I found our room highly functional and well designed, with great shower and comfy bed. I believe that we received so much more than the "lost" space. The room was spotless and carefully cleaned every day, the s...

It's a stones throw from Trafalgar Square and all the theatres of the west end. The location really is superb. The look and the feel of the hotel and the room is superb, I really liked it. i would have expected the hotel to cost more. However there were two negative points with the service. The cleaners just walked in the room while I was in the shower (they're weren't...

The whole experience was brilliant. It was our 33rd wedding anniversary and Barbara at the front desk (who gave us the best welcome we have ever had at a reception desk, by the way!!) surprised us by having a complimentary bottle of bubbly delivered to our room when we returned from our first evening out. So very thoughtful! The hotel's location for access to all the ...

Despite ending up in a tiny windowless room in the basement, this place had great service and an awesome location. London hotels are expensive, but it wasn't until confirmation that we discovered we booked a windowless room. We only used this room to sleep....because there wasn't any room for anything else! The hotel has a wine and cheese happy hour every day and that ...

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this place was. The room was clean and tidy, staff were very friendly and helpful. Bow Street flat was a great place to stay. Although booked and organised completely on line, communication with the company was excellent. Directions to pick up key from a remote drop off seemed daunting but was incredibly straight forward. Stairwell carpet was grubby however, on day 2, a carpet cleaning company appeared (nothing to do with us but indicative of housek...

The location is fantastic if you want to be in the middle of everything. Could get noisy but very convenient. Few issues with the hot and cold water from the kitchenette taps and the fact that it was on the 4th floor with no lift was a bit of a chore to climb after a day's worth of walking. Would consider booking again and try to get a lower floor if possible.

We were in the middle of Soho and everything. In just a few minutes you could walk just about anywhere. I had an extremely bad experience in this 2 bedroom apartment. I booked for a six night stay, starting on a Saturday, leaving the next Friday. We were not informed of having to live in a construction zone which started on Tuesday, a group of construction workers started putting up scaffolding in front of our building and we thought it was some repair for the day. ...

We were greeted warmly by a very very professional, kind and helpful hostess- thank you! The location is really fantastic- aside from its proximity to an Indian restaurant- which causes the entire building to reek of curry. That’s easily overlooked, however. The bigger issue was how dirty and run down everything in the apartment was. The couches were horrendous, all o...

The apartment itself is fantastic and in a perfect location to visit many of the sites. However, be warned when making this booking: 1. You will need to make contact with the agency to arrange a time when someone can meet you with a key. Not too stressful of an experience and the girl who let us in was lovely. Don't expect to urn up without contacting them and ex...

This apartment is in a great location. Walking distance to most anything. Bed was comfortable. Was open floor plan and roomy for 2 people. The lift was broken when we were there, so had to take the stairs 3 levels with our luggage was unfortunate. Would recommend this place to anyone.

When we - two 17 year old girl friends - arrived by taxi, doormen took care of our luggage and somebody from reception welcomed us in the doorway and showed us to the room, where we could check in. Hotel is located right in the heart of the city and next to Chinatown and Soho which is perfect if you want to eat and shop. Lots of Casinos, bars and clubs nearby for night time entertainment. The room was modern, you can control all the functions of the room on an iPad which is very cool. I would definitely stay here again when I head back to London.
